When I first discovered rubber stamping in early 2004, I was frustrated by the lack of diversity in the rubber stamps, particularly when it came to expressions. Everything was very cute or traditional, and I wanted something a little more edgy with modern themes and language. So, I set out to make my own designs initially as a hobby with the possible hopes that I could sell enough to keep up with my wicked stamp collecting habit, and thus, Altered Attic was born. My first edition of my current stamp line had 73 words and sayings and the second was released July 2012, adding 62 additional designs for a total of 135 styles. There are currently 7 editions and more than 300 designs and counting as I design and curate stamps.
Each of my designs is available in mounted or unmounted style - if you have trouble locating a stamp in the style you want, please message me and I will be happy to add it for you. In the spirit of keeping things "green," I use re-purposed wood blocks for the mounted stamps, which also makes them rustic, whimsical and fun tools to own and use for creating.
Altered Attic is also offers specialty and glitter die cut shapes, stickers, embellishments, and craft tools and accessories.
